Anxiety therapy that works
I offer letters of support for gender affirming surgeries, name changes, and whatever else I can to help support you!
My training has centered around systemic, relational, and trauma-informed care, with a strong grounding in justice and liberation-based frameworks. As a queer mixed race Caribbean-American therapist, I understand the nuances of cultural expectations, silence, and survival — not just academically, but personally. That lived experience fuels my commitment to providing therapy that is identity-affirming, decolonizing, and deeply rooted in curiosity and compassion.
Maybe you’ve had to hide some parts of your identity to fit in with your family, culture, or faith group. Sometimes while we can feel open about one aspect of our identity like sexuality, sharing gender identity with others can feel like it may cause us to lose support. Or you may have coped by shutting down an entire portion of your identity for the sake of remaining connected to your community. This can create a disjointed sense of identity. Maybe you’re simply struggling to cope with recent political changes, and not feeling safe. Throughout treatment we’ll explore how systems like racism, family expectations, and cultural silence have shaped your story — and how to reclaim that story
If this is you: you need a place where all aspects of who you are are welcomed and celebrated in one space. I believe therapy is a space where you don’t have to explain your existence. It’s a space where your full self — messy, tender, brilliant — is welcome
I help you identify your core values and beliefs so you can live a life that reflects who you are and what you value.
Queer Couples Therapy
Queer love often means loving in a world that wasn’t built for you. For LGBTQ+ couples, relationship challenges can include not only everyday ups and downs but also the pressures of cultural expectations, family silence, and navigating identity together.
In therapy, I create a space where you and your partner can explore your connection honestly and safely — without fear of judgment or erasure.
Whether you’re facing communication challenges, navigating cultural differences, healing from past trauma, or just wanting to deepen your bond, therapy can help you build a relationship rooted in trust, authenticity, and resilience.
Together, we’ll untangle old patterns, cultivate new ways of relating, and strengthen the foundation for love that honors both your individual selves and your shared journey.
