Hi, I’m Meghan cromie lpc

Fear and anxiety can create so many limitations in our life, and can often prevent us from living as our true and authentic selves. As part of my own journey growing up in an Caribbean-American household and as an eldest daughter I spent many years trying to navigate anxiety in a culture where mental health was often dismissed. For me it’s very important to empower each person to deconstruct patterns that are longer be serving them, aiding people on their journey to healing, and living free from fear.
I want people to know that there is no shame in getting mental health treatment. Getting help is a courageous step, and while starting to address our fears is hard, living authentically is worth it.
As an anxiety & OCD specialist I’m very aware our thoughts can be painful and make us feel like we’re not living our values. I work with all types of fear, and do not judge you on the content of our thoughts. I work with all phobias, trauma types, and OCD themes (SO-OCD sexual orientation OCD, ROCD, relationship OCD, POCD, harm OCD, and more).
I know finding help can be intimidating. I understand the stigma that mental health can carry, and work to normalize & empathize. Therapy can help, regardless of the types of thoughts you experience.

CBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based therapy that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress.
